The Harvest

We have been working so hard to plant, cultivate, water, and tend to a veggie garden. We have seen the first fruit of our labor. Here is a bananna pepper. Don't be fooled, Lukey was not going to let this thing get any closer to his mouth. Shelley and I both tried it...Let's just hope the tomatoes will be more tasty!!

The Bomber!!

Now Charby is into EVERYTHING!!! She loves to crawl and discover all the things she comes in contact with. It is like she is a little bomb that explodes every three feet leaving a HUGE mess. She goes into the bathroom and pulls the paper off the roll. She will crawl to our dresser and pull clothes out of the drawer. Then she finds her box of wipes and pulls them out of the box individually. Here she has found the only cabinet she is allowed to "play" in. She has pulled out all the tupperware.

Why does she pull out of the tupperware? Not only because it is fun to make a mess, but she needed a new place to sit!!

And of course, that make Lukey curious to see if he could fit in the cabinet. Looks like he can!! Good big brother puts all the tupperware away when they are finished.

HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY Nick-o-ness!!!

So true to our family tradition, the birthday boy chooses what we do all day. So we started the morning bright and early at Dunkin Donuts. It was a school day, so Nick had to go to school, even though he tried to opt out! We took cupcakes to school in order to help the class celebrate.
I can't believe he is SIX!

Then we headed out to play a round of Putt-Putt. Nicholas even got a Hole-In-One, but daddy still won!

Even as he played with Charby on his back, Daddy makes a Hole-In-One! When you ask Lukey how many putts it took him, he said, "It was a Hole-In-Twenty!!!"

Field Day

Have you ever seen an earth ball? To a 5 year old, it is the biggest ball on the "earth", and very hard to roll it down to a goal and back. Half the fun is chasing it after it goes off track. Wonder how many times it goes off track??

Luke and Charlotte went to school to watch Nicholas and to find out what Field Day is all about. Luke finds the playground much more enjoyable than sitting and watching!!

Nick and friends sportin' field day shirts.

How was your last basketball shot, Nick?

Charby is attached to Mommy via a snuggly. It is nap time, but things are far more interesting to look at. She didn't cry once.

Action shots with the earth ball.

On the PHONE

Grandma and Granddaddy called to wish Luke a happy birthday. Can you tell what kind of day he had!!
